Trying to find a conditioner that's natural, has a good smell without chemical fragrances, none oily/greasy, and that actually works, is an adventure in itself. My hair can go from dry to oily rapidly, there's not really a constant on either situation.I bought this conditioner a week ago, I wanted to make sure to try it and check all stages, here's what I found:During washing/conditioning, I found it to have a lovely consistency, it was soft, light, and creamy, as opposed to the weird and greasy gelatinous muck I have previously encountered. Loved how it felt just going on.The smell was comforting, not the normal potent fragrance one finds, I really loved it. It actually smelled natural without smelling like dirt. haha.It rinsed easily, I've found some conditioners to take FOREVER to rinse out, just couldn't get that "slimy" feeling to fully rinse, not this product, it rinsed out easily and left my hair feeling soft, not slimed. After towel drying my hair (still damp) it continued to have that soft feel to it and it was easy to brush, no conditioner muck was left on the brush after, so it really did rinse out in the shower. Still enjoying the smell.Once dry, my hair felt soft and natural and was easy to brush even after a day out in wind with it down. Normally a difficult task.I washed my hair again the next day but didn't use the conditioner, just shampoo, and my hair was still easy to brush afterwards. In a nutshell, I'd highly recommend this product. My hair still hasn't become greasy, which happens after a couple days from using a conditioner, this one does not do that.I'm looking forward to seeing how my hair feels after a month of use. It feels like my hair is drinking this up and loves it.I have been using Christina Moss products for myself and my kids for awhile now and love them. When I saw they have a hair mask, I decided to give it a try. I have thick and dense wavy hair. I had used Nivea hair mask years ago and it left my hair silky and luxurious-looking. I loved the texture of the mask, it was creamy and soft and hydrating. I am no longer using any products that are synthetically made, so was excited to try Christina Moss mask, expecting similar texture and results. To my huge disappointment, Christina Moss mask's texture is nothing like what a hair mask should be. When I opened it, it looked thick and rich, but not creamy and smooth. I should have closed the container and returned it, but instead I made the foolish decision to try it on my hair (thinking maybe it's just a different texture but same great results). Unfortunately, this was a bad mistake on my part. The mask felt like I was putting shea butter in my hair, not at all smooth and enriching. I had a hard time washing it off my hair, and my hair felt sticky and tough, and looked tangled and messy-looking afterwards. A ton of hair got pulled off my head while I was trying to brush. I have since washed my hair many times, and my hair still tangles up and a lot of hair gets pulled. I had read negative reviews before ordering, but saw from the replies from the company that the reviewers' hair type was not compatible with the mask, and that the mask is meant for people with my hair type. Like with any new product, I expected that there is a possibility it may not work for me, but never did I experience a hair product that actually caused such hair loss. I am very disappointed in this product. I love everything else I've tried and am writing this in hopes Christina Moss updates their formula and produces an appropriate enriching hair mask.I have extremely difficult hair. To the degree that hairstylists make remarks about it. It is nearly impossible to brush through (forget about using a comb on it) wet or dry. And while it is not typically unhealthy, it tends to be on the unruly side (frizzy, half straight, half wavy) and lately in my attempt to find the right product to tame it (get rid of frizz, boost my waves and give it some body) in combination with the cold dry weather in my area, it has become dry and brittle and generally impossible to make look nice unless I style it and even then it was flat and heavier than I'd like. As a busy mom of three I just don't have the time to style it every day. So my hair screams busy, frazzled mom. Cut to my first experience using this hair mask. Hallelujah! Beautiful, light, full bodied, soft, no frizz, full on wavy playful hair! No other conditioner or leave in hair product, wave enhancer or anything else needed! Didn't even have to scrunch it! Plus, it doesn't have any heavy fragrance, is ethically made and has natural ingredients. It has the same wonderful effect each time I use it, including a light, soft and sleek look when I straighten it. I also noticed that if I skip a day or two of washing my hair, it still looks fresh and full of body; no dirty, greasy look like before or dry shampoo needed. Love this product!I have long blonde hair which craves moisture and nutrient support. I bought this mask despite the numerous poor reviews because the ingredients are excellent from my holistic perspective and I've noticed my responses often don't seem to fall within the "main stream" of experience. May sound a bit odd but I'm not sure how else to say that. I followed the advice on CM website and used a small amount about a teaspoon for my thick hair. Rubbed it between wet palms and spread evenly through hair with particular emphasis on hair ends. After 10 minutes it rinsed off cleanly and left my hair feeling stronger, not slippery nor slimy. It didn't feel coated or smothered at all...just plumped up and more robust somehow? The subtle odor is perfectly fine for my scent sensitive olfactory system. I like it without the synthetic uberstink most companies insist on putting into their formulas! I hope Christina Moss continues to make this wonderful hair mask and the brilliant shampoo formula. I'm also hoping she will reformulate the hair conditioner without including peppermint essential oil so those of us who use homeopathic remedies can use it.
