I thought this would be a thicker larger hat but maybe I just have a big head. It is very soft. If you have a normal size head, this is very soft.I had low expectations for this beanie but I ended up loving it! It is super soft and comfortable and looks great! It's not too tight but doesn't fall off either. It's thin enough that I can wear it on both cool and chilly days, but it is a bit too thin for really cold winter temperatures.
