Stupidly I bought a different moss because it was half the price. It was horrible and a waste of money. THIS IS THE MOSS TO BUY if you need quality and the perfect moss. Me bad and lesson learned saving a buck sometimes wastes 2 bucks in returnA little goes a long way- don’t let this little brick of moss fool you. By far, the most light, airy moss I’ve used for my orchids. Plus, unlike other brands/types, this moss turns a light yellow/ beige when dry so it’s easier to tell when your orchids are a wee bit parched. Other moss (I’ve found) holds too much water retention so your margin of error isn’t as forgiving when it comes to watering your orchids. This brand is a bit more expensive but well worth the price! It Is no where near 12 liters this is for your premium plants only the quality is great just not muchThis is by far the best quality long-fiber sphag that I've purchased, and I have purchased a lot of different brands. The fibers rehydrate into a lovely gold-tinted tan, there's no offensive odor and almost no extra trash. It's expensive, but it's literally the best, so if you need the best then look no further.Given the dozens of bogus (not Sphagnum) moss offerings posing as quality sphagnum, this is the best I've found so far. "Back in the day" (pre-covid) you could get x8 this size for around the same cost, but given where we are now this is the best bet for clean and litter free NZ sphagnum moss. It’s such great quality. Doesn’t get crispy and holds it’s beautiful golden colour. Not like other mosses. And holds moisture great. If you want your orchids to be happy, this is what you need. Skip your next fast food meal, spend your money on a quality product. The cleanest sphagnum I've ever seen. I just wish it wasn't quite so expensiveThis product is really good and look so natural. I first had Peat Moss mixed with Perlites in my pots but I noticed how quick it started to grow algaes in on the top. I didn't liked that so I switched for a more natural product like this one. The package does look really small when you get it but that is because the sphagnum is dry and compressed. But, once you dive it into water, it become huge. I actually managed to fill five small/medium sizes pots with one package.I have read in one review that one guy apparently had gnats inside of his Sphagnum. Well, I did check my own sphagnum carefully and can assure that nothing was moving inside of that.I definitly will buy this product again when I will need it.First time buying this brand. Heard complaints about bad smells from other brands of this type of moss but this one does not have a bad odour. Highly recommend. This stuff is great for moisture retention and makes an awesome bedding to wrap my seedling plugs in.Is also super easy to use for more mature plants and is widely recognized as the go to product.Made two moss poles so far and the quality is amazing. It's so easy to use once soaked and you can really see the quality difference between this moss and regular moss sold at the local nursery. It's a must for your plants!I used it for my orchids and they are beautifull. I also put it under my strawberry bush outside. A+ will deffinitely be ordering again. I had enough for 2 orchids and my strawberry patch!
